Unfortunately there were a few minor issues when we arrived, that eventually got sorted. Given the circumstances of the week prior & sending our condolences to the family, I'm not surprised things were a little off the mark. A broom in the unit be great to keep the floors free of bugs & dirt. We still loved our stay regardless.

You will never leave the table hungry! Whilst she can offer beer at an extra cost, we tended to buy our own along with wine to drink at dinner. Again, you will need to inform Ingrid on the day if you require dinner later. There is no choice; me and my wife are both omnivores with no allergies or intollerances, and always liked what she prepared! Our lodge was spacious with a generous deck overlooking the beautiful gardens, and the sea in the background."

A small fridge in our lodge would have been a great bonus - however, we were free to use Ingrid's fridge. The shower was also a little on the dribbly side!

"The area was quiet, house comfortable and staff friendly. I needed to check out before breakfast so they gave me a lunch box with delicious food. It was a nice stay."

"Lodge was great with comfortable room, excellent buffet dining room facility and small swimming pool to cool off in between excursions. The highlights are the 2-3 times daily excursions which really make the high cost absolutely worth it. Our guide, Alfredo, was amazing, bi-lingual, sensitive to the local environment and even played the guitar over dinner and breakfast!"

Only downside really is the fact that there is only 1 included boat time to the lodge and back from Iquitos. We had to pay $180 extra for a personal boat because LatAm airlines brought our flight forward - not the lodge's fault, but something to look out for.

Ir jāuzliela viesu mājas saimnieces viesmīlību, un viņas gatavotās vienkāršās, bet garšīgās brokastis. Bija labas sajūtas sēžot uz nelielo balkonu un baudot siltos vakarus kopā ar pretējās mājas kaimiņiem."

"Beautiful place next to a river and the mangrove bushes. The lady at the service desk speaks very good English. That’s was very helpful. The excursion to the monkeys was very fun and the boat tour was beautiful!"

Nothing big . A small thing. Local food was only from one region of Uganda. A bit predictable too. But otherwise amazing food

"This accommodation is surrounded by beautiful scenery and cafes with beautiful scenery. It’s much recommended for tourist who is looking for quiet and peaceful stay. There is warmer installed under the wooden flooring so it is very comfortable to sleep on during winter. Our stay became more interesting in the morning when the host enthusiastically prepared us a tableful of breakfast. She prepared costumes for the children and initiated to take photos for us within the house and at the beautiful yard."

I am very particular with cleanliness so I didn’t feel that the bedding and pillows were very fresh. The place is actually not difficult to find but we tried taking a bus from Yeonsinnae Station and we took more than an hour to look for the bus stop with the bus that took us up to Eunpyeong area.

pie iebraukšanas teritorijā nav redzamas norādes, ka esam ieradušies norādītājā vietā, būtu nepieciešams plakāts pie piebraukšanas pie tiltiņa. Ilgi meklējām piekļuvi rezervētajiem bungalo jo uz vietas esošais personāls gulēja un nedzirdēja mūsu ierašanos.

"Great and unusual stay! Because is non tourist season, most of places near were closed, but owner kindly suggested to us where we can enjoy food - place Ataman, with kind woman i house athmosfer. Super clean place, amazing view, birds, and parking - everything for the trip on wild nature. They also have very cute cat if you love animals 😊 Forest near, lake, we really enjoyed walking around."

"Thank you for a wonderful stay at La Vielle, the setting was stunning, our cottage tranquil and gorgeous, and the staff so friendly and accomodating. We loved walking the trails, visiting the plunge pool with the amazing vista, and the food was excellent. The best place I've stayed in Mauritius."
