"We really enjoyed our stay here. We stayed here before and after a one night stay at the Elephant Valley Project, which was amazing. The location is fantastic, especially the view from the infinity pool. It is peaceful and beautiful. From our balcony we could sit and watch the tree squirrel and bird watch. We ate breakfast and dinner in the restaurant, the food was good, with a good selection of veggie options and some western options. Free fresh water. The rooms were very comfortable and cleaned daily. The coffee tour was interesting and the guide very informative with excellent English. Coffee, as expected, was good. It is a 10 minute tuk tuk ride out of town but it was only $4 to get into town or from the bus station."

"I was positively impressed with the Granferte Hotel - I stayed in one of the apartments for 10 days for a work trip. The place was cleaned daily, everything was new and very modern. The kitchen equipment was basic, but sufficient to cook simple meals. The gym had everything I needed. The personnel was extremely welcoming and there was always someone at the front desk to help. It is a bit further from the centre than other hotels, but also more affordable than other places of the same standards. I would systematically get a Grab within 2 minutes and it was a 15 to 20 min drive to the river and other locations of interest. Highly recommend."

"A slice of paradise. This apartment is located on M’pai bay which is a lovely area with a variety of delicious restaurants, bars, and a the best beach we have ever been on. This apartment is spacious, comfortable and everything you need for a relaxing stay. The owner Sharon has been the most helpful host we’ve come across during our travels helping us with information about ferrys, where to eat and what to do. She has made our stay so amazing. Couldn’t recommend this apartment enough. There’s also the most amazing sunset across the road in the bok bowie bar."

"If you like to try to stay with locals this is the place. We had a room to ourselves but there was a room divided just by a curtain next to us. The toilet and shower are shared but all is clean. The owner is nice, and will cook for you. They can also organize activities. There is also a local market right next to the property which we found out when the noise woke us up at 6 am 😆. It is part of the experience."
