"The property is very comfortable and well appointed and we really enjoyed the pool. It is close to the restaurants and shops in central Grande Baie. Check in was easy enough, as the keys had been left in a secure key box at the property. Any queries were swiftly dealt with by our host, Pramodah. We enjoyed our stay."

Part of the road leading to the property is a rough track, which is not well lit at night, so you need a torch and to be careful where you step if you are walking into town. This was not really an issue for us, but might be a consideration if you have reduced mobility.

"Great Location in a calm district but still in walking distance to restaurants and bars, great interior, modern, feels like home and Yovran is a great guy trying to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Walkable to nice beaches inbetween flic en Flac and Wolmar, still close enough for some nightlife in flic en Flac and generally just really comfortable. Incl. parking right in the building. Beds are 140 wide as almost everywhere in Mauritius but comfortable. Price unbeatable."

Nothing bad, really, it was great. Just for your info: Do not expect the greatest view from the balcony but it’s still fine to chill there. 2nd floor, suitcases to be carried up there but fine as well.

"La villa Mélissa est très bien située , proche de la mer, des commerces et de nombreuses activités. Elle est très chaleureuse et dispose de tout le nécessaire dont on a besoin. Les hôtes sont très accueillant et à l'écoute de nos demandes."

"Near to the public beach (not good, but 100 meters to the left - ok). Very comfortable apartments with everything you need in main life at home. Washing machine helped a lot with after beach stuff. Quietly, clean. Highly recommend!"
