"The kindness of Elen and John was above and beyond what you could ever expect . Elen made us an excellent dinner . She also let us keep our room through the next day so that we had somewhere to return to to shower after a day out ( our flight home was in the evening) . These are good people."

There was an initial problem with payment to secure the booking. Our French is very poor & it was difficult to communicate with staff on the phone & by email. Some black mould in the wardrobe.

"Maguy and her husband are excellent hosts. Very friendly, breakfast is a lovely surprise every day with local fruit and dishes, made with love. Peaceful, quiet place where you find your peace. With only 2 rooms you almost are alone in the property and the swimmingpool. As we had our flight in the evening we could enjoy the whole day of the facilities. Magnificent view, a little paradise on earth. The room is very spacious with ensuite bathroom. If we can mention one thing to improve: the shower needs a renovation. Further on make sure you have good products to keep the mosquitos away. But absolutely no reason to stay away from this quiet little gem!"

"The host, Andrae was super friendly and helpful, I was able to check in a bit late, he also organised an early morning taxi for me to get to the airport. The location is great, right in the middle of Philipsburg and just minutes walk from the beach. You're surrounded by restaurants and shops. Price was excellent."

Room and amenities are simple, but for this price and location you can't complain.

"The house is in a glorious position overlooking the harbour on one side and open sea on the other with a lovely deck and swimming pool. Federica, the house keeper is helpful and cooks a good breakfast and other meals as requested. Bedrooms are rustic but clean and overall the house is peaceful and quiet but with enough guests to enjoy conversation if you want to."

As other reviews say, the road leading to the house is diabolical but it slows speeding down.

"Sushma and her husband were really lovely and helpful - milk for the morning coffee, delicious Orange juice and the phone number of a reliable taxi driver 😊 We got great advice to get around in the area without using a car, all in walking distance of 15-30 mins. The bed is very comfortable. A huge bathroom with hot water."

It’s a residential area and in the evening it’s tricky to get a taxi at the main road to go to Grace Bay where you‘ll find most restaurants. To return is easy as there are always taxis at the Ritz Carlton. We didn’t want to rent a car as we only stayed 2 days which was okay in the day but a little tricky in the night.

"Located five minutes from the Jesuit ruins, the Posada Maria is a good base for exploring the region. The hotel is very clean and modern and has everything you need for a short stay. The pool is great to cool off on the warm summer days and the breakfast is amazing, a true continental one with delicious bread (hard to come by in South America) and a good variation of products. We had dinner here as well, which was super good as well. German kitchen, but refreshing after our month travelling around! Staff is very kind and friendly and can give tips and advice! When the rain started dripping through the roof into our room, we immediately got another one. Very smooth!"

"Essa foi a melhor estadia q ja fiquei em São Paulo, a marli é um amor, seu esposo tbm é super receptivo, o quarto é bem confortável e muito limpo, o banheiro tbm é muito limpo, a casa é aconchegante e familiar, sem falar na localização q é ótima, próximo ao mercado e ao metrô. "Perfect location to explore the old town of San Marino. Walking around to the cable car. There was another family staying there so it was a bit awkward with them using the same front door and walking past our room. It meant our bathroom and living area were not as private as they could have been. But as we were mostly out exploring it didn't bother us much. Very friendly hosts who explained everything. We didn't find the aircon despite it listing it had it...."

"The traditional Cypriot style and the charming little decorations perfectly matched my taste. The small balcony outside the room was so cute and cozy. The homemade meal had a unique flavor I had never experienced before and made me feel healthy. The hosts were very kind and happily explained the village bus schedule and how to get to our destinations. They gave my sister and me an unforgettable memory. "Simples e aconchegante, quarto tamanho médio, frigorífico em ótimas condições, jarra elétrica no quarto, há 6 chás 2 águas, a cama era confortável, macia, lençóis brancos, macio e pareciam bem limpos, toalhas brancas limpas e cheirosas, o quarto parecia limpo, TV em ótimo funcionamento, fácil acesso, fácil contato com administradores, 1km do centro mais ou menos. Casa de banho em bom estado, parecia limpo, com sabonete e tapete a água quente boa."

"This place was so comfy and cozy! I arrived at 7:30am from an overnight flight and they let me in and got me coffee to start and i was able to relax by the pool until a room was ready for me. The beds are so comfy and there's a lot of space. it's a very quiet street. Safe area you can walk around. They let me store my luggage on the day I was leaving as I had a later flight."
