"We really loved staying here. It felt very secluded, away from the world. Going in the kayak, just navigating ourselves through the channels was wonderful. The bungalow itself is well equipped and we loved the sound of the water during the night as well as the torches on the patio. The hosts went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We really regretted that we could only stay for one night. I would highly recommend this place. It truly was a magical experience!"

Naktī netika ievērots naktsmiers. Nebija skaidri saprotams par recepciju, tā arī neatradām. Latviešu valodā neviens nerunāja. Krāna ūdens nav pārtikā lietojams, bija jūtama nepatīkama smaka.

You can watch the sunset over the river and enjoy the laid-back vibe. The staff, especially Tom, were amazing! 🤩 I was feeling pretty sick, but Tom went above and beyond, providing me with electrolytes and making sure I was comfortable. His kindness and care made a huge difference. Overall, I'd give Ban Lakkham River View Hotel 5/5 stars for location and staff. Would definitely recommend and stay again! 🏨💕"

Could pave the pathway to the pool a bit better so not to always track dirt to and from the house . The lounge chair area is tight - hard to navigate multiple people finding a seat as there isn’t space to walk around the chairs . For our group that was a bit elderly it wasn’t convenient

The room is very large and spacious, and you can go swimming right outside your door. Snorkeling is great, especially near the shipwreck. There is a kayak, which my husband used to go fishing. Laundry service is available upon request. We were pleasantly surprised to find delicious bananas waiting for us in the room. I highly recommend staying here - you won’t regret it!"

The heated swimming pool is a great feature, breakfast outside in the sun by the swimming pool and diners inside by the fire, as it was a bit chilly in the evenings, were really nice. The food was excellent too. Finally the staff was very kind and efficient. There are several cats on the property - to be mentioned for those who it could be an issue. Also, the property did not serve any alcohol."

Just like everywhere in Faroese Islands its a bit pricy, but still reasonable compared to other options.

"My family and I spent one night at Himma's Luxury guest house. The property was supper clean, staff was very polite and answer to any concerns or questions we had.I highly recommend this place. This place will be my go to whenever I'm here in Freetown, Sierra Leone."

I don't like the fact that there's is no TV in any of the rooms we rented.

"Very helpful manager Mr. Bikram Lama. He helped out a lot. the evening fireplace is wonderful to keep warm. Breakfast is made-to-order and hence decent. Once you are in the property, it's a great feeling just next to the runway!!"

Location is confusing as one has to walk quite a bit from Lukla Airport. They should coordinate a porter with arriving guests. It's very cold there and room heaters must be provided for the night. Also, 24 hour hot water supply must be provided

"The guest house AIDA is a huge villa. It has 4 different bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and 3 different common living rooms. It can accommodate up to 10 people with lots of available indoor space for everyone. There is one shared pool with 2 other guest houses and lots of outdoors common spaces that you use. One of the common spaces has a very nice seating around a fire pit, the host provided us with firewood and help to light the fire. The host was very friendly and very responsive to all our questions."

The beds can be more comfortable, but they were ok for 1 night. There are no ACs in the rooms, but the weather in that area is already chilled, and they provided 4 different electric fans for all the rooms.

"Wir waren bereits zum zweiten mal in diesem Haus. Diesesmal hat uns die Sauberkeit sehr positiv überrascht. Es war sehr ordentlich, die Betten alle bezogen, alles hat gut gerochen und war sehr einladend. Hier und da etwas Dekoration war super schön und hat dazu beigetragen, dass wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Vielen Dank, wir kommen sehr gerne wieder."
