"The place was easy to find, with comfortable beds, a good amount of space, and reasonably clean. The staff was really nice, when asked they prepared my room first so that we could check-in like 1 hour early. The location is really great. Near a metro station and several convenience stores. The kitchen is a bit small, but has everything you might want in the morning to kickstart the day (coffee, tea, water...)."

"The luggage storage is not safe - the door is always open and the luggage sits in view of the outside. Perhaps a reflection of the low rate of theft and high rate of trust in Korea?"

"I'm a solo traveller who took a twin room. I really liked the fact that you have so many choices for transportation. Dongmyo station and Sinseoldong station are so close. And bus stops are easily accessible too. The room size, I stayed in 306, and it's a twin room with a double deck bed. It was pretty big for a solo traveller. The common area has most of the utensils you need, plates, cups, free water, microwave, they even usually have bread and jam for everyone to share. Staffs are also very accommodating. When I arrived, they helped me get my luggage up the 3rd floor. For check in, really, you just have to let them know what time you'll be arriving. Once I told them I'll be there by 3pm, they accommodated me. My room was pretty clean. For the price I paid, I really got what it was worth. I cannot speak for others thought as there are different rooms. There's a towel rack by the first floor if you need new ones and another bin for used ones."

"Again, you get what you paid for. It's a pretty old hostel, but it makes it feel so homey. Though I do agree that the toilets/bathroom need a major revamp. The smell, I've realized it's not only the hostel's problem. Korea has a pretty bad sewage system so it kinda smells once in a while. I leave the exhaust fan in the toilet for this."

"Really sociable hostel - good if you want to go out in Hongdae. If you're there on Friday, they organise a hostel bbq trip which is great to meet people. Very friendly staff who are mostly volunteers."

"Rooms are very basic - no curtains on beds. Not many bathrooms so you might have to wait a bit in the morning for one. Be prepared for people coming back late in the night/very early morning into dorm rooms."
