"Amazing, staff helped us with luggage and provided with a shower even after we moved out to another location. We are very grateful, everyone is very helpfull! It's expensive, but in La Digue standards it was worth it!"

"The lady who assisted us during check-in was extremely helpful. She was very welcoming and took the time to explain the island to us, including places to visit and things to do. We were greeted with fresh fruit juice upon arrival, which was a lovely touch. During our stay, even though it was not included, they kindly did not charge us for the coffee that we ordered and also offered cake as a treat. They were truly very hospitable. The guesthouse’s location is also very central; almost all beaches were within an average 10–15 minutes’ cycling distance."

"This is our fifth visit to the Seychelles and was our first stay at Mountain View Hotel. We found the rooms to be very good, the pool was lovely to cool off in at the end of the day and the view was lovely, we even saw paradise flycatchers from there. All the staff at the hotel are fantastic and want to make sure you enjoy your holiday. The hotel is at the top of a steep hill but this gives you the wonderful view and it is not too far to cycle anywhere on the island. For the price paid we found the hotel to be excellent value for money. We cannot understand the negative reviews. We certainly have no hesitation in recommending this hotel."
