"Lovely and quiet place, just next to the river Nile. Marta and Oussama were great hosts. We had a peaceful time at Nubian Lotus on Elephantine island, I strongly recommend."

"The location is stunning, perched right above the Nile with a view that is second to none. We had a fantastic time; the hospitality from the staff was exceptional, and every dish we tried was absolutely delicious."

"That said, the rooms could use a bit of a refresh; while they aren’t exactly old, they are starting to show their age. A little extra maintenance and some minor touch-ups would go a long way in bringing them up to the high standard of the rest of the property."

"The location is in a tranquil nubian village on the west side of the Nile. If you're with the car, you easily exit on a highway towards the Aswan Dam of Abu Simbel. The courtyard is a traditional one, the room was big, clean and with a good wi-fi. The host was careful and the surroundings looked safe. We also parked the car at the gate front and it was ok. The breakfast was tasteful and we served it outside in the courtyard. On the evenings, the lights from the courtyard make a warm and nice atmosphere. A good value for money!"

"The bathroom was outside of the room (which wouldn't be that bad). The water debit/pressure at the toilet was poor. We paid for a dinner there, and for 10$ we received one-egg portion of omelette each and some small side-dishes, so we went to sleep hungry. The next evening we went to a nubian restaurant in a nearby village and for the same amount of money we couldn't finish the abundance of food we received."
