"The continental breakfast was ok. A little more variety with some pancakes vs waffles would be good .Some plain cornflakes vs rice Krispie's would be welcomed"

Pozitīvs aspekts:

"Used as a base as we were visiting family , so a good location for that. Fairly quiet location & only 15 minutes stroll to Front St . Owner wasn’t seen but was easily contactable by mobile. Basic accommodation but clean and tidy."

"Property in need of a refresh which I believe they are in the process of doing ."

"Breakfast was plentiful and good quality. There was a good choice on the menu. I loved the 5 pm 'cheese and wine' which gave you the opportunity to mingle with the other guests. Staff were very friendly and accommodating and the decor (including a very cosy woodfire) was beautiful. My room was on the ground floor and right next to the social room. It wasn't too noisy so that would depend on one's sensitivities. The room was well furnished and well equipped. I loved my short stay here but would definitely stay here for longer next time as it was so central to everything including the bus terminal giving access to the whole island. I cannot recommend Oxford House highly enough!"
