"Rooms are spread over several terraces with lots of flowers. We were on the top and had a great view. Being at elevation, it's nice and cool at night. No fans needed. Great new showers with good hot water. They have a pump system through which there is still water when the power is out. A generator is turned on if there is a power cut in the morning or evening. The restaurant is very good. During lunch it is particularly well visited. For breakfast and dinner it's primarily hotel guests. Great breakfast with lots of fruits and good bread. Dinner was a daily changing dish by a daily rotating local chef. Large parking lot. Nearby attractions are Monte Café and Cascata de São Nicolau."

"A wonderful , basic cabin located in the arguably the best location on the island . Surrounded by acres of exotic fruit and native forest beyond. Birdlife is prolific. This is a place to stay for birdwatching with flocks of African grey parrots, kingfishers, egrets .. and so much more to see.. Excellent value meals can be brought to your table daily. Freshly caught fish, local grown fruit and rice. No need to cook . It's good quality and great value. Bring cash for guides and daily, national park entry fees . The beach is amazing ... REALLY"

"The hotel is located just next to the airport, which is perfect option for evening flight from Lisboa (avoiding hustle taxi dark ride 15 min. to the center of the city). Location is very safe, there is a simple but tasty restaurant inside the hotel and the other one just next to the hotel (Tia Nanda), so no worries being hungry (fish, octopus, chicken, and always fried banana + rice). Staff can help you change euros to dobras with absolute fair rate - just write a message ahead and agree on amount needed. Breakfast is very pleasant - quite and relaxing (omelette, fruits, juice, yogurt, bread, butter). Lunch and dinner: fish and octopus were amazing and drinks were nice and cold (bear and all softs)."

Vai vismaz- ļoti rūpīgi kopts dārzs. Personāls- labi sagatavots un ārkārtīgi draudzīgs, uz viesiem orientēts. Pat, ja nerunājat portugāliski, saprasties nav grūtību. Redzot, ka jums ir kāda vēlēšanās, personāls jūs intervēs tik ilgi, kamēr sapratīs vajadzību. Bet, ja tomēr neizdosies saprast, sekos zvans saimniekam, kurš perfekti runā angliski... Noteikti ir vērts izvēlēties viesu nama piedāvātos papildus pakalpojumus- ekskursijas ar gidu pa plantāciju un/vai apkārtni un vakariņas- izvēli no vairākiem ēdieniem. "ubicación perfecta para recorrer el interior de la isla. Aunque en maps me me indicaba que para pocos kms se tardaba mucho ( es decir, malísimos caminos), no fue así y llegamos a la primera una vez que pasas la población de São José. La casa está todavía en construcción algún dormitorio. El entorno es una maravilla, rodeado de naturaleza. La primera noche cenamos en el porche pero ya a partir del segundo día nos amenazaban las hormigas. Nos esperaron para darnos las llaves. Las habitaciones arriba son muy amplias con balcón y vistas. Las camas cómodas. Hay dos baños con ducha, a mí me resultó más cómodo el de abajo, el de arriba no cerraba la puerta. La cocina dispone de barra americana, horno (no muy limpio), cocina a butano y todo el menage está fuera. Buena relación calidad-precio"
