The sunny rooms of Casa Das Obras also have modern comforts such as a TV and central heating. Guests can relax and unwind at the Casa Das Obras’s outdoor swimming pool. A wholesome breakfast consisting of local cuisine is also offered here. Casa Das Obras is within driving distance of the natural springs of Caldas de Manteigas. "Mājā atradās vecajā pilsētas daļā. Pati māja ir vēsturiska. Atgādina muzeju. Uzņemšana laipna. Istabiņas skats uz pilsētas jumtiem un kalniem. Brīvi pieejama tēja un cepumi. Brīvajā laikā varēja uzspēlēt biljardu vai kādu citu galda spēli. Brokastis ļoti labas. Mašīnu varēja nolikt pie pašas naktsmītnes."

"We had a lovely stay at Casa das Obras and we were sorry it wasn't for longer. Our room was lovely and spacious even though it was 'budget'. There is also a communal sitting room with a fire and a games room with a billiard table. Tea, coffee and home made biscuits are available, which is a really lovely touch. Breakfast was served in a beautiful dining room and had a great range of options. Our hostess was friendly and welcoming. We thought the place was stunning."

The table by the swimming pool had a fabulous vista down the valley to Vizela and beyond; perfect for watching the sunset directly ahead whilst bats fly around and sipping the delicious wine made by the family. We regret not bringing some home! The owner went the extra mile for us, for example taking our laundry and ironing even in the middle of a heatwave"
