Located in Puerto Armuelles in the Chiriqui region, Perla Pacifico features a garden. There is a private entrance at the holiday home for the convenience of those who stay. The holiday home provides rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. The holiday home provides guests with a terrace, sea views, a seating area, a flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen with an oven and a stovetop, and a private bathroom with walk-in shower and free toiletries. Kitchenware and coffee machine are also provided. At the holiday home, all units are equipped with bed linen and towels.

"The location is fantastic. Great price. Gated entry. Relatively new build, so everything appears new and clean. The porch and the view were wonderful. I appreciated that the AC unit didn't blast DIRECTLY on the bed (I hate that). Love that it had a functional kitchen (I cooked a few meals). Electric tea kettle was helpful (I brought my own french press). Also, there's almost nothing like it in the area, as far as I know. There are hotels and places to "stay," but nothing resembling an Airbnb. So this was definitely my top choice. Kenia was super responsive, friendly, and helpful. We chatted a bit and watched the whales frolic just off the coast. Good times."
"The first night there were street dogs barking all night long which woke me up frequently. But I didn't hear them the second night, thank God. Also the on-demand hot water was not working in the yellow casita. Kenia let me use the shower in the blue casita because no one was in it at the time. In fact, she tried swapping the batteries and the gas tank and various things but could not get it to work. Candidly, I don't mind a cold shower when I'm at the beach. But I also like it when stuff works properly, haha. And these were not major issues, but I would've liked a cutting board, a chef's knife, and some larger spoons. Oh, also was caught off-guard when I learned it was cash-only?! Luckily, I could access some efectivo, but that could've been a disaster (if I had to transfer money internationally which can take a few days)."

"The design of the apartment was well thought out, nice decorations, comfortable bed, we could cook, theres a small fridge, there was hot water to take a shower which is a major plus because it gets chilly. The weather is chilly so you don’t need an air conditioner and the air flow was great too. Hands down, it was a great experience."

"My time at this hostel was exceptional. Eran and Liz were the kindest people, I arrived after 10 PM, and they still had a delicious plate of food waiting for me! Throughout my entire stay, they were always very helpful and always available if I had any question. They helped me discover beautiful local places, delicious dishes and wonderful sceneries. The room was spacious and comfortable, with everything you might need! They also cook great dishes that I highly recommend. Eran, the owner, even offers a series of super exciting tours, you should definitely check that out! Veracruz is a beautiful little town, I will be back soon, and I'll be staying at Liz's Hostal!"
