"Incredible and kind hosts, Maxi took us to the beach to show us the best places to surf and how to safely get in and out. It is a wonderful casita lodge in the middle of the jungle but 5 minutes from everywhere you need. Maxi and Jane even lent us bicycles to ride around - looking forward to staying here again"

"I have just finished my stay at Jungle Paunch and I really want to go back. Maxi is a great host, be will do everything to make you feel comfortable and help with whatever you need. Inside the cabins you will find the story of how Jungle Paunch was built and it is simply inspiring; a true eco lodge. the surroundings are magnificent and you can hear not only all the sounds of the jungle, but also the waves crashing in the sea very close by. an extraordinary experience, with regular visits from many animals! There is also a higher platform on the property that is excellent for meditating in the early morning and late afternoon! the Paunch area is very quiet, and Bluff beach - one of the owners’ passions - is well worth the visit. I couldn't recommend this place more. Thank you so much Maxi and Jane for your inspiring work!"

"The place itself is beautiful. You feel right in the jungle in every room of the lodge.the jungle sounds are wonderful and we spotted toucans and agoutis. It is clean and the wood is so nice to walk on. Jane was so welcoming and helpful. I wasn't well during the trip and Jane did everything she could to make me feel better."

"Loved our stay here! Tucked back into the jungle but 5 minute walk to the beach. This place exceeded our expectations. Simple and beautiful treehouse studios with howler monkeys in the trees around the property. So peaceful. The owners were amazing and so so kind. You can tell how much love goes into this place. If you're looking to relax, this is the spot!"

"We enjoyed our days at Jungle Paunch a lot. The treehouse is great, you can spend the entire day in the hammock watching the many tropical animals. It is a great experience to wake up by howler monkeys. We caught some days with a lot of wind, so swimming nearby was not easy - the beaches are rather for surfing. One day we hiked to the beautiful and perfectly calm bay la piscina. During the day there are many taxis around, so you can use those to get to Bocas town or further north instead. We found a lonely planet guidebook in the apartment, which was very helpful. The hosts are very friendly and know the area perfectly to suggest activities."

"Fantastic location, in the jungle, surrounded by all of the sounds and the animals, which was amazing. You can hear the ocean from your room. Good size bathroom, comfortable bed with a welcome mosquito net. balcony areay was really nice too, with bench and hammock. Highly recommend."
