"What a great place to stay. First and foremost, off road parking for our motorcycles. Room was lovely. Clean. Very comfortable bed. Great shower. The communal living area is huge and really lovely. Open fire, sofas. A great place to relax. The communal kitchen is the biggest, most well equipped and cleanest shared kitchen we have come across on our travels. Truly excellent. There are also eateries and bars and restaurants within walking distance. The whole town is walkable. The location is exactly opposite the hot springs and the Inn also provides you with towels to take. The staff are lovely and very helpful. We had a fantastic few days. Would return again if in Hanmer."

"Staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming and helpful. The location is brilliant, almost directly opposite the hot pools and many choices for food/drink either next door or a few doors or at worst, a short walk away. The shared kitchen facilities downstairs are super clean and really well equipped for anyone self catering. Beds are comfortable and room is well thought out. Everything is clean and well maintained/modernised."

"After a busy day of driving from Hokitika, we decided to split our drive to Kaikoura by staying at this hotel for one evening. Upon check-in the young woman clearly explained the restaurant hours, breakfast plan and how to use the outdoor jacuzzi which we definitely utilized for star-gazing later that evening. Since the hotel is literally in the middle of mountains and valleys and rivers, the views from the hotel/restaurant/villa were fantastic. We spent a few hours star-gazing the Milky Way which is our passion and one of the objectives for staying here for the evening. Given the hotel's location, the restaurant menu was quite limited which is a shame but understood given its remoteness. Lovely stay and would definitely recommend this hotel for those considering....."
