With spectacular views of the Geiranger Fjord and its surrounding mountains, Westerås Gard offers an in-house restaurant and accommodation options with private kitchen facilities. Central Geiranger is 4 km away. All accommodation options have a TV, sofa and a private bathroom with shower. Apartments and cottages have a private terrace. The in-house restaurant is set in a 17th-century barn building, and offers meals and panoramic views of Geiranger. Meals can be enjoyed on the terrace in nice weather. Storseterfossen Waterfall, a waterfall you can walk behind, is a 45-minute hike from the family-owned Westerås Gard.

"Naktsmītne atrodas ļoti skaistā vietā, pa mūsu istabiņas logu varēja redzēt Geirangerfjordu. Romantiska, labi kopta vieta. Atrodas kalnos. Piebraukšana pa šauru kalnu celiņu. Nogāzē ganās kazas un kazlēni. Skaisti. Naktsmītnē ir ēstuve - restorāns. Šeit saimnieko ģimene, attiecīgi viņi ir ieinteresēti, laipni, izpalīdzīgi un atsaucīgi. Istabiņā ir plītiņa, tēnkanna, ledusskapis, TV ar dažiem kanāliem. Wifi strādāja labi. Gultasveļa, dvieļi jāņem līdzi pašiem vai par to jāmaksā papildus, mājiņa jātīra pašiem vai jāmaksā papildus. Bijām maija beigās, kad laukā 10 grādi, mājiņā bija silti. Bija elektroauto uzlādes iespēja (3 kW/h), kas gan bija ļoti mazjaudīga, bet nakts laikā varēja uzlādēt."

"Great views, spacious, comfortable, felt like a home away from home. The restaurant was lovely, with lots of interesting antiques on display. We did our own cooking but it was cool to look around. The menu looked delicious. We enjoyed the goats and sheep grazing nearby on the hillside, and the hikes. And loved the grassy roof."
"The driveway was one lane wide, on a steep hill, but thankfully we didn't meet anyone coming the other way. Access to a washing machine would be handy."
"We had a wonderful stay at Westeras Gard! The cottage was absolutely adorable – cozy, charming, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The scenery around the property was simply breathtaking, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy nature. The location was also ideal for exploring the surrounding area and discovering all the beautiful sights nearby. Overall, we were completely satisfied with everything and would love to come back again!"

"We had a very enjoyable stay in this room. It was spacious and well equipped, including a small pantry that was very convenient. The bathroom was large and comfortable. We especially liked the view from the window, where we could see the beautiful lake. The room also had a sofa and a table, which made it a nice place for us to sit and relax in the evening. The surrounding area was peaceful and scenic. We spent some time walking around the lake."
"the location was perfect for me. i travelled there on my own for skiing. it was 100m from the railway station, which is one train and tram from the airport and 100m from the gondola for skiing. there was a supermarket 3 min walk away and a petrol station next door, that was open late and did food. the staff were very friendly and helpful. the breakfast nice and varied, english and continental style. one of the dinners i had was exceptionally good (Iberico secreto). the view from the room was lovely, overlooking the lake. the room was nice and warm (although 2 other separate people had problems with their heating). there was a bath with a shower in it. it was pretty good."
