Hotel de Vooroever is located in West Friesland between the IJsselmeer Lake and Grote Vliet Lake. The surrounding area is ideal for fishing, walking and cycling tours along the water. All of the rooms at this family-run hotel are simple yet functional with free Wi-Fi, cable TV and extra long beds. Some rooms have a balcony with a view of the Grote Vliet Nature Reserve. The village of Medemblik is less than 10 minutes drive from the hotel. Hotel De Vooroever is situated a 17 km from Hoorn and 12 km from Enkhuizen. Amsterdam is just over 50 minutes away by car.
