The Green Edge is situated in Dambulla, 2.5 km from Dambulla Cave Temple. The property is 18km away from Sigiria Rock, about 72 km to kandy ,62 km to polonnaruwa, and 4.5 km from Rangiri Dambulla International Cricket Stadium. It is a 3.5-hour drive to the Bandaranaike International Airport. There is a shared lounge at the property. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. "This is a truly excellent small hotel, incredibly peaceful situated within beautiful gardens. The owner and staff were so kind, going out of their way to make our stay special. Even though it’s outside the main part of Dambulla, it’s easy to get around using the hotel Tuktuk or PickMe - and you get the benefit of the peaceful surroundings. The room was lovely with a comfortable bed and very large bathroom, really amazing value considering the price. Breakfast was excellent. Would 100% recommend"

"We stayed in the Green Edge for 3 nights and we used as a base to visit Sigiriya, Pidiurangala and Polonaruwa.. It is very close to Dambulla but still very quiet. The environment was very relaxing and the staff so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also very good. Highly recommended."

"We had such a good, memorable time here. Taken very well care of by Manju (the owner), we enjoyed a very comfortable stay in the wild, off the beaten track, with beautiful nature all around us. The food was delicious and filling, vegetarian and vegan diets catered for completely. They lit us a fire one night and we enjoyed dinners by candlelight every night. The beds were super comfy and the large hut that we stayed in was very spacious - good for all bags and clothes. Manju organised our safari day and our trip to a local beach. He was ready to meet our every need and was very kind and friendly with our children too."

Our half day (evening) Safari guided by Nikki was great and we noted that most other vehicles in block A didn’t have a guide and hence struggled to spot wildlife. Some food was very good - especially the curries at lunch. We loved the set up for the dinner by the bonfire. Rooms were cleaned thoroughly."
