"Breakfast had lots of choice, provided early at my request. Room was clean, spacious, very comfortable bed! Outside seating area next to lake was really special. Staff were all super helpful."

"Whilst it’s a half hour hot walk down the main road to the middle of Karen (and the excellent Talisman restaurant) it’s a great location from which to visit the Karen Blixen estate and the Sheldrake elephant sanctuary. (don’t bother with giraffe feeding - it’s an expensive 10 minutes!) The room we had booked was small so they happily upgraded us to a larger one at extra cost. Well worth it. Staff and breakfast were lovely and bed comfortable."

"Green area, cute landscape, small pond inside home with monkeys on trees- and very nice staff making yummy pan cakes (must try) in breakfast. All 😍 and very neet and clean everywhere. The pet (dog 8 months age) mr Baraka was very loving. He felt when we were checking out and came to say goodby."

"The staff was amazing and very helpful. They assisted in getting me a genuine mechanic to check my car. The breakfast was great. The environment was exceptional The design of the house and the space felt like home."

"The bed twin beds are not very comfy. They are small, for a tall person not ideal The duvets need to be upgraded. The shower needs to be checked. The button for changing the water to the overhead is faulty. Fumigation is necessary in such kind of a facility. Cocraockaches were on my face at night. Fighting with them on the first night justified that the beddings have not had thorough checks before."

"Had an upgrade of room Convenient for walking to Karen Hub and using Uber to see the local sights. Good breakfast and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Suzanne also came up with a number of ideas for things to do and how to do them without our own car or driver. We enjoyed our stay so much that we are returning for the last night of our holiday!!"

"We were asked the prior evening what time we would like breakfast, which was made to order by the wonderful staff. The grounds are beautiful; we enjoyed relaxing outside whenever we could."

"They had good breakfast and good laundry service, staff was friendly and they had a guard at the gate the whole time. It was clean. They have a very cute dog called Baraka."

"It's very outdated and the bathrooms are old and need a renovation. Location is kinda scary, especially if you arrive late at night and you cannot walk anywhere, you need an uber for everything. We had a lizard in our room."
