"I booked a studio with a sofa bed as it was 26m sq but the room allocated was not what I booked and paid for. I sent David a message about it and was told that I was given an upgrade to a room upstairs with a terrace and a bigger bed. The studios are on the ground floor. This would have suited us better as we had to lug our heavy cases upstairs. I was very annoyed because I was not consulted and the decision to allocate a different room category was not discussed. I don’t think anything would have been said had I not brought it to his attention. Although it was a comfortable stay and I think the property offers favourable amenities I would not recommend it for the reasons I just mentioned. I felt it was a little underhanded to allocate another room type with no consultation. It is also further from St Paul at 1.6km than the nominated 800m. This may not be the fault of the host."
