Maison bleue

"We stayed at Maison Malabar mid August 2025 for 4 nights. Joel and Natalie are the most wonderful and helpful hosts. The town was so quiet at night it was so peaceful and relaxing. They booked us dinner at their suggested restaurants in the evenings and the venues were perfect. The room we stayed was simply out of this world. It was curated with wonderful furniture and the house has many original artworks that Natalie painted itself. The bed was so comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and there was plenty of it served at a time they asked whether it was convenient to us that We had great fun using Google translate with Joel and Natalie but were staying to look at property to buy. Natalie spent considerable time handwriting in English some super notes and tips for buying property in France - it really touched me that she spent the time to do it! We will definitely be back"

"I liked how comfortable and great the place is to stay temporarily with family and pets. I liked how coffee capsules were provided in the kitchen with food and drinks. The bathroom was also spacious and well-equipped. There was also free parking that was available close to the place."

"Clean, bright, cheerful, well equipped, and lots of lovely wee extras - some good coffee and teas, some store cupboard essentials, enough toilet paper (yaay!), lovely relaxed bijou beach vibe. Small private covered terrace for outdoor dining. And two bikes supplied, made a huge difference - bikes are the most relaxing way to get around Carnac."
