"There are so many things that are great about Clairseine. Firstly the location is beautiful, right by the river Seine. Then the accommodation was of a very high standard. A lovely large bed and so comfortable. A well equipped kitchen too. We went for two walks along the river which were idyllic. Our host, Oliver was very friendly and made us feel relaxed in this wonderful space. If you are looking for a quiet place in nature then you must stay here."

"Location was perfect, silent surroundings, good views, beautiful decorated (Christmas themed), very kind hosts, room was clean, everything you need is available. If there is anything you can always contact the host. Everything you need (supermarket, bakery, etc.) are all pretty near. About a 30 min drive to Colmar, really worth it."

"The welcome from the owner was excellent and we instantly felt at home. She explained how everything worked. The room was very comfortable and had everything you could reasonably want. The pool was very clean and contained salt water (much better for the eyes). The breakfast was excellent and combined fruit with jams and cakes made on the premises."

"Voldoende slaapgelegenheid om met 3 mensen apart te kunnen slapen. De hoge tafel in de eetkamer/keuken was zeker een meerwaarde. Hoewel er op de website staat dat er een stapelbed was, waren er 2 slaapkamers met elk een dubbel bed en een zetelbed in de woonkamer. Nu was dit voor ons eigenlijk nog beter, maar was wel anders aangegeven."

"The host was wonderful and allowed us to check in early . The room was spacious with a large ensuite, including bathtub. The shower was hot (give it 2 minutes to get there). The bed was extremely comfortable. The shared kitchen had everthing you would need.. The pool was lovely on a hot day. The house was very quiet and peacful. The location was a ten minute drive to the beautiful village of Barbizon, with lots of cafes, restaurants, and bakery. The larger town of Fontainebleau was a short 15 minute drive away. Both well worth a visit, including the Chateau gardens. We would love to return in the future. Maybe for the next Django Reinhardt Music Festval 2027??"
