Too many flies specially when we tried to have the canopes at sunset. Perhaps at the parking spot where pick ups, drop offs are made, have a little shed with a couple of chairs so people could sit down while they wait to be picked up cos we came in a cab and sometimes, the driver may have another hire so he has to drop us and go off. Also, do advise guests to bring a sweater as it gets chilly at night. We did have one but only cos a colleague of mine who had been to a desert camp b4 recommended it.

"Le A is situated in a magnifient garden, and you really feel lost in the place. It is very well integrated with the surroundings and calm. The accomodation is what you see on the pics and you will have what you need. The bed is comfortable and you need to do a small walk to get to shower and toilette, but that it is part of the beauty! Be aware of mosquitos! But this is normal in u are btw plants and in a garden. Sylviane will provide you with all the info you need to move around and where to buy things. If you van, rent a scooter, that will make you to be able to go around!"

"I stayed 8 nights in a tent in a beautiful, tropical garden just a few meters from the sea. Sunki, the manager and William, the owner are great people, they arrange things for you, it was very helpfull. The kitchen is great, it has everything you need for cooking. There is a fan inside the tent, everything was nicely prepared. I am so greatfull, I have been in this wonderfull place."

"It’s was perfect for me. The full experience from booking process, finding the location, meeting with the people responsible for the place. Great kitchen and accommodations. Super confy. Very quite with an amazing view. You can see the stars reflections on the lake. Fish made by Vincent was mmmm. Delicious. What else, Oh!! Learning more about the lake and people living around was an amazing experience. The place was built with love and harmony with the nature around. If you need a place to recharge- I highly recommend this one."

"Tropical paradise. The resort is accessible only by boat and up against a national park with lots of lemurs. We were there for five days, four nights in a beachfront bungalow with private facilities. Sun lounges under coconut palms. Local seafood at the restaurant. Hardly any other guests. Affordable for budget travelers."

Ok, cold water showers, but hey.

"My son and I spent three weeks traveling around Puerto Rico and this was a wonderful addition to our trip. I love Pitahaya's focus on sustanability and eco traveling, the exclusion of single use water bottles (BRAVO) and attention to composting and recycling. This is something rarely seen on the island and greatly needed. The mattress in the tent was very comfortable and I absolutely loved showing under the stars. A great way to camp if you are unable to bring your personal camp gear or are simply looking for a more comfortable camping experience."

The main light in our tent would only last for a few seconds. We weren't aware that it was motion activated and that made it challenging to play board games and read at night.

We honestly cannot understand some of the negative comments regarding the food, as our experience was excellent in every aspect. "Great set up, breakfast, it poured with rain one night and the tent was dry as a bone. Dog loved it. Didn’t use the swimming pool but looked good for families. Good showers and communal cooking facilities."

"Staff was amazing. Rachel went above and beyond any call of duty to have us met from a late bus, organised a park trip and had us dropped in morrogoro. Nesto made sure we were safe in the campground. Breakfast was great, more like brunch.Highly recommend the camping but for the bravehearted...loved sitting around the campfire in the early hours of the morning, listening to the sound of silence and occasionalanimal call, watching the moon sail across the sky from the net window of the tent... the sister hotel nearby has lovely rooms, at a very reasonable rate."
