"Lieliska atrašanās vieta. Kajītē bija silti un uz klāja bija pieejama koplietošanas virtuve."

Divstāvīgajai gultai nav ērta veida kā tikt uz gultas otro stāvu.

Der Gastgeber Franck ist sehr nett und er erklärt auch wunderbar die Handhabung des Dingis, so dass man auch jederzeit an Land gehen kann. Möchte man aber bei so einem paradiesischen Hausboot gar nicht :-). Mehr Karibik geht nicht!"

"Our stay on the Yathra Houseboat will always stay in our minds and hearts. This is our second time within 3 years. We had a vacation of our life with all the comfort and pampering by the staff on the boat. The cruise on the river provided rare glimpse of few exotic birds and a large group of monkeys. The narrations by the Manager of the Dedduwa Boat House about those birds were very informative. The Skipper was kind enough to stop along the river bank to watch the birds closely and take photographs. The candle-lit dinner and the night spend on the upper deck was simply magical. The next day my husband even managed catch some fish while cruising. The staff arranged them to be prepared for our lunch and that dish was out of this world. The staff went an extra mile to make us happy. The bedrooms and the facilities on board were above standard. This is the best destination we spend while in Sri Lanka. Keep it up Yathra and we will back again next year."

"Very handy location. Boat well appointed with everything you could need: toilet, small shower, galley with all facilities (except a wooden spoon!). Bed comfortable with cosy bedding. Lounge and dining areas separate with a good amount of room, for two at least."

Being a bit inexperienced at staying on boats it took us a while to fine tune the way we used things but hey, life’s a learning experience. Hot water did run out but easily overcome and, with a bit of communication, eventually fixed up. It’s a boat, not a 5 star Hilton; these things happen.

"Our trip was amazing, we arrived at the night to beach with bioluminescent, stay at the camping, witch made special for us. In the morning we went to diving with tortuges"

"Sakopta skaista vieta tieši pie Minijas upes. Interesanti, ka barža pārveidota par komfortablu viesnīcu un atrodas uz ūdens. Bija viesi, kas makšķerēja tieši no baržas! Interesantas pastaigu vietas tuvumā: daudz dīķu un putnu. Viesiem ir iespēja izbraukāt apkārtni arī ar velosipēdiem!"

Brokastis pasniedz tikai no pulksten 9 arī darba dienās, kas, manuprāt, ir par vēlu. Ārējais apgaismojums ļoti spīdēja istabā caur lodziņu durvīs.
