"For our situation - traveling by car with no children - Vila Lira was very good: The staff was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The front desk staff spoke English, and for others we used Google Translate. Everyone we talked to was very patient with the translation app and our attempts at Albanian. The hotel is new; the room was very clean and comfortable. Shower had hot water and good pressure. A/C worked great. The location is away from the beach but offers free parking in a large lot behind the hotel. The beachfront was a 20 minute walk or 5 minute taxi ride away; worth it to us to have the parking. Our room included breakfast which was fresh and delicious. We were here during the shoulder/slow season, it may be buffet-style in season, but at this time it was made for us and was extremely generous."
